T2M Precubator Nordic © is a Nordic project with the overall objective to explore, share and establish “thought leadership”, meaning best-practices, practical tools and an arena for early-stage research commercialization and capturing of ideas.

The Nordic countries share the same culture for being creative, but we lack the culture knowing how to capitalize on creative ideas. Ideas from Nordic researchers are often discovered and developed commercially by other companies and countries. The potential growth in economic and human resource moves out of the Nordic region.

Our question is: Can we develop our own ability to capture and recognise new ideas that will turn into new regional knowledge intensive jobs and competitive advantages for existing industry?

We believe that it is possible to improve a) the capitalization of research based ideas and b) capturing of innovative ideas from employees through increased focus on the precubation phase of innovation. This level of the innovation chain, the front end, is a premature stage lacking best-practices both in the academic and industry environments.

We believe that the project results can help bringing the common Nordic vision of ICT innovation to fruition.
